A Brief History:  The Olympics have become much too commercialized, and the spirit of competition has given way to greed, money, and selfishness.  In replace of this corrupted event, The Council created the Extravaganza invitational, where competitors would compete for the benefit of everyone's satisfaction and enjoyment, not for the corporation's bottom line.  The first Extravaganza was in August of 1997, in which Chris Nelson was the Inaugural Champ.  He has not competed since due to injuries and excuses.

Since then, the Official Sport's Extravaganza has been held annually, in which Keith Graves (later to fall victim to  the Brownie Rule) and Kris "formerly known as Kristina" last name unknown have been many of the contestants throughout history.  Off shoots of the Official Extravaganza have been the Thankstravanza, and it's cousin, the Winterstravaganza.  Competitor's who have shined in these games have been Jason "Bull" Dozza in 1998, and Larry Leiber in 1999.   Marred by controversy and selfishness for the first time in the Winterstravaganza of 1999, the Council must go back into negotiations on how to halt the progress which parallels the Olympics.

Brad Renfroe became the first rookie winner in the Y2K Spravaganza, and Larry Leiber became the first official repeat winner in the Y2K Thankstravaganza.  Ben Moran set records for traveling from Chicago to Denver to participate in the Y2K thankstravaganza.
